Lesson 18:Future actions Be going to: form We use be going to + the base form of the verb: I’m going to take a few exams at the end of the year. It’s going to be difficult to get a job during the summer as the tourist industry is suffering from the economic downturn. Be going to: uses Be going to is commonly used in informal styles. Intentions We use be going to to talk about future plans and intentions. Usually the decision about the future plans has already been made: She’s going to be a professional dancer when she grows up. Lesson 19:  Superlatives We almost done but before we continue, you have to check this. Superlative adjectives are used to describe an object which is at the upper or lower limit of a quality ( the tallest, the smallest, the fastest, the highest ). They are used in sentences where a subject is compared to a group of objects. Noun (subject) + verb + the + superlative adjective + noun (object). Lesson 16:Subject/object Pronouns What is a ..... A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun. Without pronouns we would have to keep repeating our nouns. We don't say:  My sister is very friendly. Everyone likes my sister. Instead, we say: My sister is very friendly. Everyone likes her . The personal pronouns I, you, he, she, it, we and they are used as the subject of a verb in a sentence, while me, you, him, her, it, us and them take the object of the sentence. Lesson 15:Comparatives 1 Comparative adjectives are used to compare differences between the two objects they modify ( larger, smaller, faster, higher ). They are used in sentences where two nouns are compared, in this pattern: Noun (subject) + verb + comparative adjective +  than  + noun (object). E.g. This box is  smaller   than the one I lost.  Your dog runs   faster   than Jim's dog. We use adverbs of frequency – like sometimes or usually – to say how often we do things, or how often things happen. Lesson 11:Modals Today we are going to talk about can & have to, What are those ? Modals Permission, Prohibition, Obligation, No obligation To express  permission ,  prohibition ,  obligation  and no  obligation  we usually use modal verbs. Permission Can  is often used to ask for and give permission. Can I sit here? You can use my car if you like. Can I make a suggestion? We can also use  may  and  could  to ask for and give permission but  can  is used more often. Prohibition Both  can’t  and  mustn’t  are used to show that something is prohibited – it is not allowed. You can’t park here, sir. You can wear jeans but you can’t wear trainers in that bar. As we check before there are two uses of P:C. now the activity to reinforce the previous knownledge. The Present Continuous Formula:  to be [am, is, are] + verb [present participle] When to Use the Present Continuous Tense Use the present continuous tense with the appropriate  “to be”  verb and a  dynamic  verb.
